Maliki instructs to provide all requirements for Iraqi pilgrims

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, instructed to provide all the requirements for the Iraqi pilgrims during the current Hajj season of 2012.

A statement by Maliki’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Maliki received the head of the Hajj and Umra Supreme Committee, Sheikh Mohamed Taqi al-Mawla, at his office in Baghdad on Friday,” noting that “Mawla briefed Maliki about the preparations conducted to serve the Iraqi pilgrims.”

“Maliki instructed to provide all the needs for the Iraqi pilgrims, wishing them to be blessed by God while performing their rituals in the holy lands,” the statement concluded.

It is worth mentioning that the first flight of Iraqi pilgrims to Mecca headed on last Friday from Baghdad International Airport.
