Mosquitoes swarms attack neighborhoods in Babel

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) Mosquitoes swarms attacked residential neighborhood in Imam area of northern Babel province.

Member of the Municipal Council of the area, Kadhim Mudalel, stated to IraqiNews.com on Friday that ”The reason behind the mosquitoes spread is the piles of wastes and wastewater gathered nearby the area which created a perfect environment for the mosquitoes proliferation.”

He demanded ”The health and supervision authorities as well as the municipal departments in the province to reduce this phenomenon because mosquitoes represent the most prominent means for transportation of diseases and epidemics among humans.”
