Security adviser confer with U.S. ambassador at UN

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi national security adviser Mowafaq al-Robaee on Monday conferred with Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (UN), methods of getting Iraq out of the authority of Chapter VII of the UN Charter, according to a release issued by al-Robaee’s office. “They also discussed how to work on issuing a new Security Council resolution that preserves Iraq’s funds outside of the country,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com.
