6000 pilgrims head to Mecca through Arar outlet in Anbar
Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The number of the Iraqi pilgrims heading to the Holy Lands in Mecca to perform Hajj rituals across Arar border outlet in Anbar province reached 6000 pilgrims during the past six days.
The Director of Arar border crossing, Jamal al-Falahi, said “The number of the pilgrims who have passed through Arar frontier outlet which links Iraq to Saudi Arabia, amounted to 1276 coming from Baghdad.”
It is worth to mention that the first flight of Iraqi pilgrims set out in last Sept, 28th from Baghdad International Airport to the Holy Lands in Mecca.
