Hamoudi: Iraq adherent to opening-up policy with other countries

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Humam Hamoudi, stressed that “Iraq will adopt new approaches in dealing with all the important States in the world.”

A statement by Hamoudi’s office mentioned on Monday “Prior to heading to Russia together with the Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, Hamoudi confirmed that “Iraq is working within the principle of openness to every side especially with the advanced countries.”
“A new phase of good relations started where the Iraqi foreign policy will witness new shape of development,” he added.

It is worth mentioning that PM Maliki has departed Baghdad, on Monday morning, heading to Russia in an official visit accompanying delegation comprising high-ranking officials, economists, and security leaders among them Hamoudi.
