4th conf. of Iraqi chambers of commerce opens

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The fourth conference of the Iraqi chambers of commerce opened in the capital Baghdad on Tuesday in an initiative to boost the role of the private sector in the reconstruction and investment processes. The two-day conference is held under the auspices of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki; the Iraqi minister of trade, Abdelfalah al-Sudani, and was attended by several members of the Iraqi chambers of commerce. Seven pieces of research on investment opportunities in Iraq were presented at the conference. SS (P) 1
