IED goes off in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A police officer and a policeman were injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device explosion in western Mosul.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com “The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, exploded targeting a federal police patrol in Refaay neighborhood of western Mosul ,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring a Deputy Commander of the Federal Police Sixth Regiment and a policeman who was accompanying him.”

The source added “A security force transported the injured policemen to the hospital for treatment.” \
