Customs committee of Tribil outlet seizes two trucks with radioactivity

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Customs Committee of Tribil outlet seized two trucks coming from the United Arab of Emirates where they were filled with chemical fertilizers with radioactivity.

The head of the Committee, General, Munthir Abdul Karim, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Thursday “The special committee of checking the trucks has seized two trucks coming form UAE and contain radioactivity that is dangerous for human beings and environment,” noting that “The two trucks were sent back to UAE.”

Earlier, the Ministry of Environment warned from importing machines and materials without getting the Safety Certificate by the origin because they may have radioactivity.
