Abbawi meets American Charge D’affaires

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Undersecretary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Policy Planning and Bilateral Relations, Labid Abbawi, met the American Charge D’affaires in Iraq, Douglas Solomon, on last Wednesday.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues related to bilateral relations.”

“Both sides exchanged the views on the important events in the region and ways for dealing with them in addition to the steps adopted to get Iraq out of the provisions of Chapter VII,” the statement concluded.
