Legal Activist arrested in Nineveh

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh Governor, Athil al-Nijaifi, sued the Legal Activist, Haytham Mohamed Ibraheem, in Mosul on Friday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The judge decided put Ibraheem under arrest till next Sunday according to Article 229 of Iraqi penalties Law.”

“Ibraheem abused the Governor and his gaurds as they neglected a woman came to the governor’s house having a request,” the source added.

“The guards of took Ibraheem to the police station where he was put in jail,” the source concluded.
