ATC discuss developing Kadhimiya area

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Antiquities and Tourism Parliamentary Committee discussed the project of developing Kadhimiya area to increase the financial incoming obtained from the religious tourism.

The Media Directorate of the Council of Ministers mentioned in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday that ”The Antiquities and Tourism Parliamentary Committee held a meeting headed by the chairman of the committee MP, Bakr Huma Sadeq and the meeting included discussing the developing Kadhimiya area and the seasonal reports of the financial monitor bureau about the work of the Ministry of the Antiquities and Tourism in addition to the work of the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage and the Tourism Commission.”

The statement added that ”The meeting included discussing the number of the foreign tourists who visit Iraq and the subject of the oil pipelines in Babel archaeological city.” \
