Iraq, UAE Co. discuss constructing free zone project in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The General Bureau of Free Zones associated to the Ministry of Finance discussed with the UAE Mac International Company, possibility to establish private free zone in Baghdad.

Director General of the Bureau, Sabah Salih al-Qaisi, said “A delegation from the Emirati Mac Co. visited the free Zones in Iraq where they discussed with the Iraqi officials the investment situation in the free zone of Khur al-Zubair in Basra province.”

“The delegation presented a detailed explanation about the investment project of Mac Co. in Khur al-Zubair’s free zone and the exceptions, incentives and the privileges granted to them,” Qaisi added.

He pointed out that “The Bureau expressed full readiness to offer all the facilitations for the Company’s project.”
