Musawi stresses importance of adopting law in settling tribal disputes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Advisor of the President of the Republic for Tribal Affairs confirmed the importance of resorting to the law in resolving disputes.

A statement by the Office of the Advisor, Daghir al-Musawi, received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) stated “President’s Advisor for Tribal Affairs stressed during his visit to Faw district in Basra and his meeting with its Mayor, Walid al-Sharifi and other local officials there, the importance of law enforcement in this border district which is considered the Port of Iraq and overlooking the world through the Arabian Gulf,” stressing at the same time “The importance of raising the level of services according to the geographical location of the district.”

It added that “Musawi met during the visit with the elders and notable persons of the district and stressed during the meeting the need for resorting to the language of the law in settling conflicts that occur to give a vivid picture of the situation which happened after the Democratic Change.”
