Mayahi calls parliament to reveal investigation results over corruption of CBI

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, of the White bloc and the member of the Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee called the parliament to reveal the investigation results over the corruption of the Central Bank of Iraq during Monday’s session.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Sunday, Mayahi said “Some sides consider the investigation over the corruption of the CBI as targeting it and its sovereignty where it is a strange issue shows that only the beneficiaries of the corruptions issues state that.”

“We have some files that approve the involvement of some political figures in the corruption issues of the CBI where accusing the CBI of the corruption is not groundless,” he added, noting that “We call the parliament to reveal the investigation results in its regular session of Monday.”
