Urgent – .Haidari, officials within IHEC innocent of corruption charges

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Federal Cassation Court announced the innocence of the former chairman of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Faraj al-Haidari and the other officials within the Commission of charges of financial and administrative corruption against them.

A judicial source told IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “The Federal Cassation Court set aside the decision of Rusafa Court of Baghdad which accused Haidari and his Deputy, Osama al-Ani, besides the Director of the Electoral Directorate, Karim al-Timimi, where the FCC asserted their innocence of the charges issued earlier against them over corruption.”
