Zebari, Russian ambassador discuss previous agreement between both countries

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zebari, discussed with the Russian Ambassador to Iraq, Ilya Murgunov, the political and diplomatic agreements concluded earlier between both countries.

A statement by the Iraqi FM mentioned that “Zebari received the Russian Ambassador at his office in Baghdad, where they discussed the letter of the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov to Zebari.”

“Both sides reviewed the outcomes of the recent visit of the Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to Russia as well as the previous political and diplomatic agreements signed by Foreign Ministers of both countries,” the statement concluded.
