MP demand to rescue shrine of Prophet Zulkifli in Babel

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Tourism and Antiquities parliamentary Committee, Lubna Raheem, called to intervene and prevent some sides from defacing the landmarks of the Shrine of the Prophet Zulkifil in Babel province.

Raheem reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Some sides within the Shiite Endowment practice certain procedures that can lead to deface landmarks of the Shrine of the Prophet Zulkifil under the pretext of Islamic relics in that place.”

She added ”The Government should move quickly before the case turns into an international scandal because this landmark is a historical site since 2000 years.” \
