Officer killed in northern Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) An Officer was killed while his son was injured due to an armed attack in northern Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com that ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting an officer with a Captain rank, works in the Nineveh communication department within Ministry of Interior, and his son while they were checking their under construction house in Hadbaa neighborhood of northern Mosul.”

The source pointed out that ”The officer was killed while his son was injured during the attack,” noting that “The security force cordoned the incident area and transported the dead body of the officer to the morgue and his son to the hospital for treatment.” \
