Abduction operation foiled in Samara

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) A security force managed to foil an attempt to kidnap pilgrims in Samara city of southern Salah-il-Din province.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com “A force of Samara Operations Command in cooperation with the Iraqi Army Salah-il-Din Brigade managed to foil an attempt to kidnap several visitors of the holy shrine of Imamen Askareyain in Qalat area within Samara city.”

The source did not identify whether if the pilgrims were Iraqis or foreigners.’

The source added “The force also succeed in arresting the kidnappers.”
