Explosives discovered in Basra

Basra (IraqiNews.com) Security forces managed to discover amount of explosive materials and tank’s mines as well as mortar shells in Qurna district of northern Basra.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”A force of the Intelligence Agency and Criminal Investigations in cooperation with the Iraqi Army managed to seize (34) envelops of explosive materials and (33) mortar shells as well as many mines in Qurna district of northern Basra province.”

The source pointed out ”The security forces lifted and seized the explosive materials,” noting that “The explosives were discovered according to intelligence information.” \
