Najaf health department destroys ton of expired sweets

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The health monitor teams within Najaf health department have destroyed vast amounts of sweets material for being not suitable for human consumption.

The Ministry of Health reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The health monitoring teams which belong to Najaf southern sector confiscated, during its daily inspection campaigns, vast amounts of sweets material that reached (1.5) ton of expired sweets which are produced in Mosul city.”

The statement added ”The health teams cooperated with the teams of the Anti-Economic crime and destroyed all the expired sweets,” calling all the citizens to “Make sure of the safety of the food materials before buying it by noticing the date of production and take care if they carry any weird physical changes.” \
