IA soldier killed in eastern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army soldier was killed in Sumer neighborhood of eastern Mosul on Saturday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The soldier was killed when unidentified gunmen attacked him in Sumer neighborhood while he was on a vacation,” noting that “The gunmen managed to escape after the attack.”

“A security force closed the attack area and transferred the dead body to the morgue,” the source concluded.
