Deputy Premier confers detainees’ folder

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Deputy Premier Barham Salih on Wednesday conferred detainees’ issue in a meeting with the Iraqi-U.S. Combined Work-Team to review the issues of detention and detainees, calling on the necessity of dealing with the folder of Iraqi detainees in coalition forces’ detention centers in a serious manner , according to a release issued by Salih’s office. “Discussions came as part of the procedures related to the Iraqi-U.S. security pact,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com. “The head of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council attended the meeting,” it added.
