IS MP rules out settling political crisis in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abd Khudhir al-Tahir, of the Iraqiya Slate stated “The political crisis in Iraq will not be settled because it is ambiguous.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The political crisis will not be settled because each side wants to get interests by settling it.”

“The Kurds became a part of the crisis after being mediators where they ask for interests and this is their right because they are a part of the political process that get interests and build, but others get interests and do not build,” he added.

“Now there is no mediator in the Iraqi crisis and we will continue witnessing crises where there are two parts in the political crisis, the Kurdish part that seeks interests and the Arabic part that has disputes within it,” he pointed out.

“If we talk about reforms, we will have to get them and we should reform the damaged sectors in the government first,” he said, assured that “If the Kurds transfer their experiments to Baghdad, then we will have reforms.”
