MoE stresses necessity to adhere to preventive measures against cholera spread
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Environment stressed the necessity to pay attention to the preventive procedures prepared previously by the ministry to the relevant authorities at ministries of Health, Education, Municipalities, and Baghdad Mayorship.
A statement by the MoE reported that “The Environment Ministry adopted preventive measures to prevent the spread of cholera epidemic through inspecting the potable water and conducting microbial tests.”
It is worth mentioning that the Health Ministry of Kurdistan Region has announced in September, 29th the formation of operations cell all over the Region’s areas to confront cholera disease after registering 15 illnesses in the Kurdistan Region.
