UN SGSR congratulates on Adha EID

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The UN Secretary General’s Special Representative, Martin Kobler, congratulated the Government and people of Iraq on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

A statement by the UN mission to Iraq received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Thursday mentioned that Kobler said “On the occasion of Eid, I would like to reiterate my call for all parties to redouble their efforts to resolve their differences and continue to work on the issues that will be addressed in an effective manner to meet the needs of all Iraqis.”

He added that “On behalf of the entire United Nations family in Iraq, we congratulate the Iraqi people on this holiday.”
