Talabani separately congratulates Maliki, Jaafary, Abdul Mahdi, on Eid

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, separately, congratulated the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, as well as the former Vice-President, Adil Abdul Mahdi, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Presidential Statement received by IraqiNews.com cited “Talabani phoned them to present his congratulation on Eid extending his wishes for Iraqis to spend the Eid days with peace and happiness,” noting that “Talabani wished the politicians to show tolerance and to overcome the political problems to bring happiness to Iraqis and to protect the interests of the country.”

“Maliki, Jaafary and Abdul Mahdi thanked Talabani wishing him a happy Eid,” the statement concluded.
