Oil, Energy Law draft needs earnest steps to end its controversial points, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Baha Jamal al-Din al-Safi, member of the Parliamentary Oil and Energy Committee stressed that the oil and Energy law draft needs earnest discussions to be ratified by the Parliament.

Safi said that “The Quartet Committee comprising the influential relevant sides, which was formed to settle the controversial points within the oil and energy law draft did not reach serious steps in this regard.”

He pointed out that “The Committee needs serious dialogues within the framework of the Iraqi Constitution so as to reach fruitful solutions for the pending issues concerning this topic.”
