1st Japanese support conf. opens in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The first conference on Japanese support opened on Monday  in the capital Baghdad with the participation of several Iraqi officials. “The conference, organized by the Progress Institute for Development Policies and Jamaica Graduates Association, aims to study the assistance that has been offered by Japan since 2003,” Mahdi al-Hafiz, a former minister of planning and a member of the economic committee in the Iraqi Parliament, told IraqiNews.com.
