Diyala people complain their local government
Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) People of Diyala province criticized their local government concerning not offering them any entertainment services during Eid al-Adha, demanding the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to investigate their local government.
Several citizens of Diyala province told Iraqi News IraqiNews.com ”Our local government did not offer any entertainment services and they just pasted some posters which carries a name of an official that congratulates the people of the province on the occasion of Eid al-Adha,” pointing that ”The amounts of money which were spend on these posters would have been better if they were distributed amog poor during Eid al-Adha.”
They added ”Diyala province considered as the second province in term of orphans, widows and poor,” calling “The Premier to interfer by forming a committee to investigate the shortage in providing services for people of the province.”
The people of Diyala threaten to organize an open demonstration until dismissing their current local government.
