Sadrist MP accuse some officials of Trade Ministry of Corruption

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Oudai Awad, of al-Ahrar bloc accused the officials responsible for the Ration Card within the Trade Ministry, of “The financial and administrational corruption.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said ” In spite of the huge budget that Iraq has, the Ration Card is still not sufficient to the citizens due to the financial and administrational corruption of the officials responsible for it,” noting that “Some key officials are involved in corruption issues related to importing the food materials.”

“There is another problem for the Ration Card which is the storage of the food materials in the stores of the ministry for long time to make it expired and not suitable for the citizen’s use,” he concluded.
