Najaf declares success of Eid security plan

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The police command of Najaf province announced the success of the security plan which was implemented for Eid al-Adha in Najaf province.

The director of the media office of Najaf police Captain, Muqdad al-Mausawi, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com ”The security plan, which included the participation of (30,000) security elements of police, army and intelligence, of Eid al-Adha in Najaf province succeeded.”

The statement added ”The security plan included imposing three security cordons starting from the holy shrine of Imam Ali and expanded until the external security checkpoints, stressing that ”There was not any security breach during Eid al-Adha.”
