SLC MP accuses parliament of hindering government performance
He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “When the parliament takes a holiday, there are no tensions in the public and the performance of the government is well done,” noting that “We cannot depend on the parliament to strengthen and develop the performance of the parliament.”
“One of the wrong issues that the parliament discusses is the corruption, because there are many big blocs and key officials are involved in corruption issues where the parliament did not take any action against them which resulted in the lack of the confidence by the Iraqi people to all the governmental institutions,” he added.
He called “The citizens to elect the best ones that can represent them in the local councils and the parliament.”
