Shubar: Final Accounts of 2012 budget not received by parliament yet

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ali Shubar, of the Citizen bloc confirmed that “The Parliament did not receive the Final Accounts of 2012 budget from the Federal Government.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he assured that “What the parliament received are mere facts about the budget rather than Final Accounts,” stressing that “The Final Accounts must be submitted to the parliament to know what was spent and how.”

“According to the parliament bylaw, MPs could not go on the parliamentary holiday unless they vote on the complementary budget law of 2012,” he concluded.
