MP expects revealing new files of corruption against senior officials

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Yassin al-Ubaidi, member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee expected revealing new files related to corruption issues against politicians.

Ubaidi stated to IraqiNews.com that “There are a lot of corruption files presented before the Committee,” noting that “The revelation of any corruption cases is considered as a constructive step.”

He referred to “presence of files related to involvement in corruption against officials including ministers and Governors but they will not be revealed to the media till completing the investigations about them.”

It is worth to mention that the Parliamentary Integrity Committee has announced earlier about issuance of warrants of bringing in against certain officials including MPs for case correlated with financial and administrative corruption.
