Hasnawi: Meetings between Maliki, Nijaifi not to solve crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Hasnawi, of Ahrar bloc described the meetings between the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, as “Wasting time.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “These meetings will not participate in solving the crisis,” noting that “They would better to settle the disputes between the legislative and the executive authorities.”

“Ahrar bloc is still optimistic towards solving the political crisis through the efforts of all the blocs,” he mentioned.

He called “The political blocs to adopt the Reform Proposal of the Iraqi National Alliance to correct the political situation in the country.”

Earlier, Maliki and Nijaifi held several meetings recently.
