Bayati belittles threats launched by Ba’ath Party to destabilize security

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abbas al-Bayati, of the State of Law Coalition belittled the threats launched by the former Ba’ath Party to destabilize the political and the security situation in the country.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he mentioned “Ba’ath Party is weak and unable to negatively affect the political and security situation,” noting that “This party has not shelter currently after the Arab Spring in the countries like Libya, Syria and Yemen which were supporting and receiving its elements.”

“The reports over the power of this party, which proves to be terrorist organization by killing Iraqis, is mere media and psychological war,” he added.

Some media outlets reported the intention of Ba’ath Party to conduct armed activities in the country.
