Barzani discusses with Qatari Emir, Heir Apparent, bilateral cooperation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, discussed with the Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and his Heir Apparent, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the bilateral relations and the means of developing them.

A statement by the Qatar News Agency (QNA) cited “The Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, met her at his Emiri Diwan Office on Tuesday morning with President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Masoud Barzani and his accompanying delegation.”

“Al Thani discussed with Barzani bilateral relations and means of enhancing and developing them as well as a number of issues of mutual concern,” the statement added.

The statement pointed out “the Heir Apparent, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, met here at his Emiri Diwan Office on Tuesday morning with Barzani and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to the country.”

“Apparent stressed, during the meeting, his keenness on Iraq‘s unity and its return to its natural position.
Means of developing economic and investment relations were also reviewed during the meeting,” the statement concluded.
