Iraqi army secures U.S. convoys in Nassiriya

THI QAR / IraqiNews.com: F or the first time, a n Iraqi army force protected U.S. convoys in Nassiriya, the official spokesperson for the U.S. forces in the province said on Sunday. “This is the first time for this to happen,” the spokesperson said in the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “It reflects the coalition troops’ high level of trust in the Iraqi security forces,” he added. “Our patrols are following the Iraqi army leading this mission,” he noted.
