Iraqi Ministry of Industry calls Iranian companies to take part in rebuilding Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Administrative Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Industry, Macki Ajeeb, discussed with the Iranian Undersecretary Minister of Defense for Electronics, Hussein Baqiri, prospects of mutual cooperation between both countries to develop the industrial sector of Iraq.

A statement by the Ministry mentioned that “Ajeeb called during the meeting the Iranian companies to actively take part in the process of rehabilitating the industrial companies associated to the Ministry and the importance of making use of the available investment opportunities in the Ministry.”

Baqiri called the “Iraqi Ministry’s companies to visit Iran to inspect the industrial development there where he expressed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Iraq in developing the industrial sector in Iraq.”

“Both sides agreed to hold other meetings to agree upon a joint mechanism between the two parties in this regard,” the statement concluded.
