Iraqi Ministry of Culture holds Iraqi Annual Cultural Festival in Copenhagen

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Annual Cultural Festival was held in Copenhagen with participation of the Iraqi Cultural Centre in the Scandinavian countries where it was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Iraqi embassy in Denmark.

A statement by the Ministry mentioned that “The Festival was held with attendance of the Undersecretary Minister of Culture, Tahir al-Hamoud, and a large number of Iraqi poets, writers, and novelists who live in Denmark and the Scandinavian countries in addition to the Iraqi community there.”

“The Festival included conducting many cultural and artistic activities, concerts, song recitals, plays, display of movies, photo gallery, besides participation of folkloric teams representing the folk art of Iraq with all its sects and communities,” the statement concluded.
