Maliki heads meeting of Foreign Policy Committee

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Policy Committee held its meeting on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.

“A statement by the Foreign Minister received by IraqiNews.com cited “The members of the meeting are the ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Planning, and Oil, in addition to the National Security Adviser and Acting Head of the National Intelligence.”

“During the meeting, the participants discussed a number of important issues related to Iraqi – Kuwaiti relations, Syrian crisis, relations with the United Nations and facilitating the granting of visas for investors, businessmen, and guests of Iraq,” the statement concluded.
