8 suspects arrested in Babel

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Eight persons were captured with arms in their possession in northern Babel province, a local police source said on Monday. “An emergency police force conducted a search raid in an area affiliated with al-Maseeb district (40 km north of Hilla city), during which eight persons who are suspected of being involved in armed operations were arrested,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Thirteen Kalashnikov rifles, a number of hand grenades and a stolen vehicle were seized during the raid,” the source added.
