SLC MP accuses Iraqi Ambassador to Russia of working for his sect\

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Salaam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition accused the Iraqi Ambassador to Russia, Faiq Abdul Aziz Nirowi, of working for the interests of his Kurdish sect rather than Iraq’s.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “Nirowi was acquainted with the time of the visit of the negotiating delegation to Russia over the armament deals, but he left his office to join the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, during his visit to Bulgaria and make his Deputy to receive the delegation.”

“Nirowi started to ask about more details over the armament deals in addition to submitting false information about the delegation by saying that the delegation arrived to Russia on a private aircraft, whereas the delegation used the formal airways,” he added.

“Such behavior indicates that Nirowi works for his sect rather than Iraq and away from the diplomatic procedures that he has to follow,” he pointed out, assuring that “The Ambassadors must be informed to work for Iraq only and those who work for their own sects must be investigated.”
