Sadr denounces Israeli attack on Gaza strip

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, denounced the Israeli attack on Gaza strip.

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “After condemning this brutal attack by the unjust Israeli, I offer my support for you and I express my gratitude for the Egyptian President for his decision to withdraw his country’s Embassy in Israel.”

“I call all the countries to follow the Egyptian example especially Arab and Islamic Countries like Qatar, Jordan and Mauritania,” the statement added.

Gaza strip is under the Israeli attacks since last Wednesday where dozens of Palestinian citizens were killed and injured in the attacks.

Israel claims that these attacks aim at destroying the military infrastructure of Hamas Movement.
