Media Committee: If Kurdish channels broadcast through Israeli Telstar, Kurdistan Region to be sued

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Parliamentary Media Committee, Ali al-Shalah, stated that Kurdistan Region will be legally investigated if the Kurdish channels broadcast through Israeli Telstar.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), Shalah said “If the reports about the broadcasting of the Kurdish channels through an Israeli Telstar are true, Kurdistan Region will be legally investigated because Israel is an enemy to Iraq.”

“We cannot approve or deny the broadcasting of Kurdish or non-Kurdish channels through an Israeli Telstar, but this is a rejected issue,” he added.

“The Iraqi government is adherent to not normalize its relations with Israel without recognizing the Palestinian State as all Arab agreed upon,” he concluded.

Earlier, some media outlets stated that some Kurdish channels are broadcasting through the Israel Telstar (Amos).
