Zebari to participate in Arab Ministerial delegation to visit Gaza

(IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, will participate in an Arab ministerial delegation to visit Gaza to express solidarity with the Palestinian people against the Israeli attacks.

A statement by the Arab League received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Arab ministers during their meeting in Cairo on last Saturday condemned the Israeli attacks calling to stop them immediately and confirmed strong support for Palestinians in Gaza.”

“The Ministers also called for reviewing the Arab peace initiative with Israel,” the statement added.

“The delegation will comprise the head of the Arab summit, which is Iraq, the head of the ministerial rotation, which is the Lebanese Foreign minister, and the Secretary General; in addition to any other countries wishing to join.”

Gaza strip is under the Israeli attacks since last Wednesday where dozens of Palestinian citizens were killed and injured in the attacks.

Israel claims that these attacks aim at destroying the military infrastructure of Hamas Movement.
