MP attributes political statement’s media escalation to foreign pressures on political sides
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ali al-Allaq of the State of Law Coalition attributed the media escalation in the political statement and exchanging of accusations to foreign pressures on some political blocs.
Allaq stated to Iraqi News that “The media escalation is caused by regional pressures on some political sides in order to keep Iraq weak and disjointed, thus weakening it politically and weakening its regional and international role and keep it under the UN sanctions stated in UN’s Charter, 7th Chapter, referring to Turkey, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia which use Israel to achieve these goals.”
“All what is done by the Iraqi Government for example the formation of military forces aims to preserve Iraq’s national unity and avoid dividing it on ethnic, sectarian or communal bases,” he added.
It is worth mentioning that Iraq witnesses continuous political crisis due to escalation of the disputes among the political blocs about issues related to partnership in running the state in addition to other files.
