Bolani calls Maliki, Barzani to adhere to constitution over current crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former Interior Minister, Jawad al-Bolani, called the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, to adhere to the constitution over the current crisis between the two sides.

Bolani stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “Maliki and Barzani are requested to adhere to the constitution and preserve the sovereignty of Iraq in addition to activating the security plan of 2009 in order to settle the current crisis away from the media escalation that affects the national interest of Iraq.”
