A statement by the media office of the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, cited “Nijaifi phoned the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the President of
“Nijaifi confirmed achieving progress concerning this issue by gathering the two sides to hold dialogues after agreeing on specific place and time for these meetings,” the statement added.
“This meeting is considered as a great development to solve the crisis and to end the disputes between the two sides,” the statement concluded.
Earlier, Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, launched an initiative to eliminate the crisis between the Federal Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government to avoid the disputes and the possible civil war in the country.
